Daniel McDowell is a Certified Residential Home Appraiser, specializing in Luxury Homes.  He has been appraising homes in Arizona since 2005, and trained under Daniel D. Smith, one of Arizona’s first appraisers, and a prominent appraisal instructor.  Daniel and his wife Kelli started their own firm, Venture Appraisal, Inc. in 2007.  Daniel was fortunate to spend the first years of his career doing investigative appraisal work, reviewing appraisals that contributed to the 2008 market crash.  Daniel has since worked with a variety of Appraisal Management Companies, directly with lenders, and has done many appraisals for estate work and private lending.  His favorite part of appraising is solving the different puzzles that come with each new assignment.  Daniel and Kelli enjoy the flexibility of working from home so they can participate in their three daughters’ school and extracurricular activities.
